Shellye Carpenter

Director of Partner Relations

Shellye Carpenter is the Director of Partner Relations at BALANCE, a full-service financial counseling agency and educational content provider. She and her team manage over 300 partnerships across the financial, non-profit, and healthcare industries. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and joined BALANCE in 2021. 

She holds a BA in Journalism from California State University, Fresno, and is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor. Financial education is her passion—whether it’s presenting to young students in the classroom or hosting webinars for adults. 

When she is not working, one of her passion projects is working with kids in foster care, bringing them financial education that will help them get off to a good start once they reach adulthood and begin making their own financial decisions.
