Rick has worked with BALANCE since 2015 as a part of the migration project from San Francisco offices and data center to the Concord Office. 

Project lead for multiple consulting engagements to upgrade infrastructure, servers and storage, virtualize all physical servers, establish geographically diverse and redundant data centers, and migrate physical phone lines to SIP. 

Since 2019, Rick has been a staff augmentation resource reporting to the CIO and has led projects supporting the transition to a 100% remote workforce, migrating email to Microsoft 365, establishing a Help Desk, supporting the migration of systems to the cloud (DMS and Salesforce), completing yearly SOC 2 and PCI audits, among other strategic initiatives. Since September 2024, Rick has been a full-time contractor leading the Information Technology Department at BALANCE.
