Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Joining BALANCE in 2024, Maria serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and oversees our Accounting and Finance department. She provides a diversity of leadership experience, having previously served in Leadership roles in various industries. 

Maria has over 30 years’ experience in cash management, banking and auditor relationships, M&A, debt management, risk management, strategic planning, budgets, forecasts, financial analysis and financial reporting. She is a communicator at all levels and is equally effective and comfortable working hands on with the staff, strategically thinking with the Executive Team, or presenting to the Board of Directors. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She is a Certified Public Accountant with an active license in California.
